this is the extent of my decorating for the fourth this year...
my take on the traditional red, white, and blue--
we are having a pretty low key holiday today...
my mom came over to go to church with us, MHD grilled the yummiest sliders for us all, MDE and i made some "firecracker" rice krispie treats, and that's about it. for me, the heat, mosquitoes, and crowds makes for an uncomfortable celebration so floating in our pool and movie night at home sounds like a plan for me.
but what about you? are you all awash in red, white, and blue? do you have a favorite fireworks show? well, whatever your plans--i hope you have a star-spangled time!!
